One woman's thoughts on men's rights, Men's Rights, and gender.
Hi,I found your blog through a mention on Genderratic and I must say, so far I like what I see. Keep it up!About this clip: Is that from a TV series? If the situation were reversed, we all know everyone would be up in arms and the show would get cancelled immediately for being rape apologetic. Though, in fact, this would never have aired in the first first place. And, just to make it clear, this was rape. She tried to shame him into doing her and when that didn't work, she used physical force.I know what the makers would probably say, that it was a twist to get men thinking about what they do wrong because, really, everyone knows that only men rape and women can only be victims of rape, right? Let the CDC say differently, that 50% of rape victims are male and 40% of perps are women, who cares?I still can't believe this really aired...B20
I find it really weird and disturbing. I would feel the same way if the roles were reversed. Haven't watched TV for a few years now, so I don't know the show or whether it is supposed to be a comedy or not.
